I'm the face behind Papped By Ty - a lifestyle photographer, mum and lover of good food, colourful places and clothes, and capturing life as it happens.
Photography has always been a huge part of my life, and after studying Photography at university, I decided to have a hiatus and now deciding to turn something I love into a career.
I'm all about natural, candid photography that captures the real stuff- the laughs, the chaos, the little details and the moments you didn't realise were happening.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me with my family, exploring somewhere new, eating something delicious or getting involved with my local touch rugby team.
Photography for me isn't about making everything look perfect. It's about capturing people, places and moments as they are
Why I do this
I love photography because no two shoots are ever the same. I get to meet loads of different people, work in different places and constantly come up with new ideas.
I love capturing the moments that happen naturally - the laughs, the chaos, the details and everything in between. Whether I'm photographing a wedding, a family, or a business, I want the photos to feel natural, colourful and like you.
Long story short I get to do something I genuinely love, meet some great people and take some great pictures along the way.
How I work
I like to keep things relaxed, straightforward and as natural as possible. We'll have a chat beforehand about what you're looking for, then on the day i'll guide you when needed and blend into the background when it matters.
I'm not here to make you spend hours awkwardly posing. I want you to enjoy yourself, be yourselves and let me capture everything as it happens.
Fun Facts about me
A few things about me, I've got a degree in Photography, I'm a mum to little Alf who likes to come to shoots with me, I love good food, holidays, and have an unhealthy obsession with shopping. I am co-captain of the ladies touch rugby team, I LOVE espresso martinis and a pint of Guinness.
